Healthy Foods to Better Sex

1. Spinach
Spinach is a great energy food and it is good natural source of magnesium. The great quality of magnesium is that it helps dilate the blood vessels which in turn help with the blood flow. This means that the blood flow to the genitals also increases which is great for arousal in both men and women.

2. Chili Peppers (capsaicin)
When capsaicin dilates blood vessels, it increases circulation and stimulates nerve endings all over your body, which can help rev up libido.

3. Celery
According to an exhaustive study of purported aphrodisiac foods, celery is the “sexiest” substance on Earth. It has a combination of Vitamin E, magnesium, niacin, potassium and zinc, which are all required for optimum sex. Celery also contains arginine, which is an amino acid that expands blood vessels the way Viagra is supposed to do. And while we are on this topic, I might point out that arginine also  increases blood flow to the um, female genitalia when ladies consume celery, making the female genitalia more responsive.
Celery has an aroma which contains the two steroids called androsterone and adrostenol. Research has shown that when we ingest celery, the subtle odor of these two natural chemicals travels through our bodies and works to attract the opposite sex.

4. Bananas
This Superfood has been known to improve sexual function and performance. Bananas are high in bromelain and b vitamins, both of which have been shown to be potent sexual hormone regulators that can increase sexual desire, sexual function and overall virility.
Eat a banana a few hours before your planned rendezvous.

5. Avocado (Ahuacati)
Avocados contain high levels of folic acid, which helps metabolize proteins, resulting in more energy. They also contain vitamin B6 (increases testosterone production) and potassium(helps regulate the thyroid gland), two compounds that help increase libido in both men and women.

6. Dates
It helps increase one’s sexual stamina. Soak one handful of dates in fresh milk overnight. In the morning grind the dates in the milk and add honey and cardamom powder and drink it.
7. Almonds (essential fatty acids)
Just the scent of almonds is thought to be an aphrodisiac for women, according to some folklore. Almonds are rich in zinc, an essential for testosterone production and a healthy sex drive for either gender. The essential fatty acids in almonds are vital for a man’s hormone production. The nuts also contain L-arginine, a substance that is found in some medicated creams and gels that are applied to the genitals to increase arousal.

8. Asparagus (histamine)
Asparagus is rich in vitamin B, which increases the formation of histamine. Histamines are necessary for a healthy sex drive in women. Many women tout asparagus as a super food to increase libido.

9. Garlic (allicin)
Garlic has been shown to be beneficial in the treatment of not only impotence, but erectile dysfunction as well by acting on the body in several ways.

10. Cacao (endorphins)
Chocolate gets right to the heart of sexual pleasure by increasing the brain’s level of serotonin, the feel-good brain chemical. Increased brain serotonin increases sexual excitation, desire and responsiveness. Women have more serotonin in their systems than men and appear to be more sensitive to chocolate. Chocolate provides a mood boost to women during PMS and menstruation, when serotonin levels are often down. It also puts women in the mood for love.

11. Arugula
Arugula is one of the historically renowned “love drugs” that has been verified by medical research. We now know that arugula’s natural aphrodisiac qualities stem from the trace minerals and antioxidants it contains. These minerals and antioxidants inhibit the introduction of potentially libido-reducing contaminants into your system — making them essential for the health of your reproductive organs.

12. Pumpkin Seeds
Pumpkin seeds are an excellent source of protein, iron, zinc, manganese, magnesium, phosphorus and potassium, which are many of the key nutrients required for optimal male sexual health.

13. Watermelons
Amino acid called citrulline, which relaxes and dilates blood vessels much like Viagra and other drugs meant to treat erectile dysfunction.

14. Figs (amino acids)
High in amino acids, which are believed to increase libido. They can also improve sexual stamina. Furthermore, the shape of a fresh fig and the sweet, juicy taste are two tangible aspects that are highly pleasurable to the human senses.
